Meet Thomas F. Hurley

Thomas Hurley is someone who values relationships, experiences, and making the most of every opportunity. Outside of work, you’ll likely find him on a golf course, in the gym, traveling somewhere new, or spending time with family and friends. A passionate sports fan with loyalty to Boston teams, Thomas enjoys trying new restaurants and discovering unique experiences—especially when it means supporting customers and partners along the way.

His bucket list includes traveling throughout Europe and playing some of the world’s most iconic golf courses, while family traditions, like summer trips to Maine, remain some of his favorite memories. He believes one of the greatest skills anyone can develop is the ability to genuinely listen, guided by advice he carries with him daily: “God gave you two ears and one mouth — listen more than you talk.” While many may know him as outgoing and energetic in professional settings, he admits that away from work he’s naturally more of an introvert.

Thomas Hurley brings 17 years of foodservice industry experience spanning operations, dealer sales, sales leadership, and manufacturer representation. His journey began at just 15 years old as a food runner at a hometown restaurant in Rhode Island, eventually evolving into a career built on industry knowledge, customer relationships, and hands-on experience across multiple segments of foodservice.

As a key part of Eaton Essentials since its launch, Thomas played an integral role in building the organization from the ground up—starting with a vision and no represented lines, helping shape it into a growing and relationship-driven business. His focus has evolved from creating foundational systems and partnerships to driving long-term growth, team development, and strategic initiatives.

Thomas thrives on connecting operators, dealers, consultants, and manufacturers to create meaningful solutions that improve businesses and customer experiences. He believes the future of foodservice will continue moving toward smarter kitchens, greater efficiency, and stronger partnerships throughout the industry. His passion for building something meaningful, coupled with his collaborative approach, continues to help drive Eaton Essentials forward.
